We will hold elections in the autumn of 2026 to determine our board for the next year. Our elections are by vote of existing board members. We need fresh talent to keep driving the mission forward!
What we’re looking for
A great candidate would have some of the following qualities:
- You love Scrabble and word games in all their forms (lexicon, language, etc.)
- The Woogles dream of growing competitive word gaming resonates with you
- (Required) You have time to participate in our board meetings 8–10 times a year, for 1 hour each
- (Required) You’re comfortable speaking in English so you can participate in our meetings
- (Required) You can meet somewhere in the 9–11 pm Eastern Time slot, to be determined based on who is in which time zones. (You may want to specify, “I can do this time but not that time.”)
- You have experience with non-profits
- You bring a skill with you. Examples: finance, marketing, technology, law.
Note: if you are new to the Woogles Board, your first term will be for one year.
